We’re Hiring – Social Media Intern
Are you a student who is motivated, resourceful, and tech-savvy with social media? Come work with us!
This part-time position, approx 5 hours per week.
The intern must be able to travel to our salon in East Brunswick, NJ at least once a week to create content. This position pays a small travel stipend + plus offers highly discounted hair services. (Not a paid internship)
The intern will work directly with the marketing team to craft and execute content for all platforms, including and not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Pinterest. If you TikTok – We are high-key extra excited!!!!
We are looking for a new team player to join our mighty marketing team who is excited to make a positive impact. We look forward to receiving your application!
- Qualities we are looking for:
- Social Media Experience: Knowledgeable about Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- Tech-Savvy: Quick to pick up new tools
- Writing Skills: A demonstrated writing ability to connect with a target audience
- Storytelling: Convey information in an authentic, concise, and memorable manner
- Graphic Design: Ability to pull together images, infographics, etc. for social channels
- Video Production: Basic video editing and creative skills for social media posts
- Organization: Task management, time management, reliable and timely
- Focused: Able to work both as part of a team and solo in a remote work setting
- Positive Attitude: High-energy, team player, and a good sense of humor

Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, and team-oriented
- We offer all assistants a free, comprehensive training program that focuses on basics for cutting, color, color theory, application, and formulation.
- Our major emphasis is on client services and hair craftsmanship.
- Most of our stylists have graduated from our training program and are successful hairstylists/colorists.
